NEW DELHI: A higher-degree team despatched by the Union wellness ministry to Tamil Nadu to assess the circumstance in the flood-ravaged Point out has found that there is no outbreak of any key illnesses there.
The 7-member team, which achieved the State on Sunday, was to perform an assessment of the overall health situation there.
Officers said here on Monday that there is no report of any outbreak of water-borne or vector-borne conditions in the State at current.
The seven-member group will conduct quick overall health assessment of the flood-strike locations and also suggest the Condition on general public well being measures.
They satisfied the Condition well being secretary and other officers of the Tamil Nadu overall health office and held thorough deliberations on the flood circumstance and public overall health motion that is needed for prevention and manage of communicable conditions, the officials said.
The Central staff regrouped itself into three groups and is visiting flood-affected regions, including the well being services.
The groups are accompanied by officers from the Point out health office and the Chennai Municipal Corporation.
