PARIS: Key Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that India’s priority is to safeguard the world and the mother nature and it hopes to attain that.
“Protecting our earth and character is a priority for India. We have established formidable targets and we are hopeful to obtain it. Mahatma Gandhi was a winner in defending mother nature, so this hard work is specific to India,” Prime Minister Modi explained on the sidelines of meeting US President Barack Obama at the Meeting of Get-togethers listed here.
“World’s 121 nations around the world who are photo voltaic prosperous are coming together to kind a new group. I will start it with the French President. I think that this shift will help satisfy the goals with which we all have collected in Paris. India proposed some massive targets in Meant Nationally Identified Contributions. I am sure we will satisfy our tasks,” he added.
Earlier in the working day, Key Minister Modi held bilateral meetings with French President Francois Hollande and Japanese Primary Minister Shinzo Abe and a quick assembly with Pakistani Key Minister Nawaz Sharif.
After inaugurating the India Pavilion at the Summit, Key Minister Modi also attended a lunch hosted by Hollande for the checking out globe leaders.
