NEW DELHI: The Congress should support the authorities to go the Merchandise and Support Tax (GST) bill as it is the require of the hour, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu said on Wednesday.
“The passage of the GST bill is the want of the hour. The Congress social gathering had assured the authorities that it will get back again to it after consultations in the social gathering. Congress now ought to appear ahead and help the authorities to move the GST,” Naidu told reporters outside parliament.
He questioned Congress party’s stalling the proceeding of the house above National Herald circumstance.
“Why the Congress is elevating the situation in both the houses of parliament as the matter is sub-judice,” he said.
He hoped that parliament will purpose easily and the opposition will cooperate as numerous essential legislations are pending before each the houses.
