NEW DELHI: A serving BSF personnel and a suspected ISI operative have been arrested by Delhi Police for their alleged involvement in an espionage racket – allegedly investing key and private info posing threat to nationwide protection – from the railway station at Jammu, police stated right now.
The accused duo have been identified as Kafaitullah Khan alias Master Raja (forty four), a resident of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, and BSF head constable Abdul Rasheed, posted at the intelligence wing of Border Stability Force in the same district, Joint Commissioner of Law enforcement (Crime) Ravindra Yadav said.
“Khan is a handler of Pakistan Intelligence Operative (PIO) and Rasheed was 1 of his main sources. The espionage racket operate by them is supported by Pakistan’s ISI,” Yadav explained, including that the duo has been arrested below a variety of provisions of IPC and Formal Tricks Act.
